This stunning necklace features Ethiopian Fire Opals, (precious gemstone), paired with gorgeous Aquamarine. This is a timeless, versatile piece.
Ethiopian opal, also called Welo opal, is a unique, diverse and fiery opal mined from the foothills of Ethiopia. Thirty years ago, the only source of opal was Australia. Yet in the mid-90s things changed and the market opened up to a new opal supplier. Then, more discoveries in 2008 and 2013 served to solidify Ethiopia’s stake in the opal market.
Opal is a precious gemstone, like rubies, emeralds or diamonds. Opal is rare, and it is expensive to prospect and mine for.

I guarantee the craftsmanship on all of my jewelry to be free of defect. If anything breaks (due to craftsmanship) I will repair or replace at no charge within the first three (3) months. After three months and up to one (1) year I will repair (if possible) for a small fee + shipping or replace for 50% of the original price paid.
